This past weekend I hopped on a train and met both my sisters in The Big Apple.
We enjoyed my sister’s sunny (and quiet) apartment.
And rode the Subway.
And ate hot dogs.

Since my parents moved into my great-grandmother’s house, they have spent a significant amount of time renovating and renewing the fab 1920s space. One of the best parts of the process was finding all the little things that were left behind. Great Grandma was a fashion-forward lady, and she left some lovely little gifts behind for us girls.

Lately I’ve been craving real chai. I like the Starbucks stuff most days, but nothing beats a true side-of-the-road chai. I studied in India during undergrad and I drank this stuff in 114 degree heat. All day. That good.
