Love letter to Elmer Bischoff “Glass Chandelier” 1969

I didn’t expect it to be you.
We stand waiting to enter. We are in a room bathed in warm color.
Our source of illumination is a glass orb.
It lights the portal ahead of us. The space glows with the deep blue of an ancient cave. 
The light carries dust particles of our skin.
It encompasses our potential.
I was mistaken about the meaning at first. 
I thought the window was a screen that would project our dreams, our history our intent.
Will this frighten us into not revealing ourselves to each other?
But no, it is an opening… a vista of possibilities for a future. xxx. NW
