Dinner last night at AQ (2012 James Beard Award for Nest New Restaurant) with a lovely lady from work. 

Clockwise from top left:

  1. Delicious cocktail with white whiskey, which tasted a little like bananas!
  2. Pork Trotter, spring garlic, snails (SNAILS!) and avocado
  3. Fava beans with falafel stuff….
  4. Aged strip loin, medium rare, with mushrooms

The presentation was stunning, the service was phenomenal and I’m still full. I am also already of dreaming about brunch here at some point in the near future. Read more about their restaurant concept and food project here.
